Reitmans (Canada) Limited (RCL) is looking for an Allocation Analyst to join our Planning and Allocation team for the Reitmans brand.

**About Planning and Allocation**:
It takes planning, analysis and strategy to build customer loyalty and profit, season over season and with every collection. That is where our Planning and Allocation teams comes in, accurately forecasting customer behavior, product performance and managing inventory levels across our Omni-channel network. Leveraging data collected from traditional and nontraditional data sources in order to achieve financial goals related to sales, gross profit and inventory turnover.

**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Allocation Manager of the Reitmans retail brand, the Allocation Analyst, supports the creation, management and execution of allocation strategies and inventory plans that support the financial goals and product strategies.

**What you do**:

- Working closely with product and store analysts to review in store product assortments in order to optimize ecommerce and retail store sales;
- Collaborates with Product Managers throughout product development cycle providing data and insights on product sizing, store and market analysis;
- Integrates buying decisions within the Allocation strategy;
- Allocates merchandise based on performance and adjusts inventory plans accordingly;
- Interacts with different departments to integrate buying and planning with distribution strategies;
- Monitors the Distribution Centre inventory and ensures alignment to maximize in-store and E-commerce performance.

**Qualifications** Who you are**:

- University or College degree in commerce, marketing or related field of study;
- 1 year + related experience;
- A strong interest in learning about evaluating financial and business indicators and translating data into easy to action information that drive results;
- Motivated to use logic and methods to solve problems and provide solutions;
- Comfortable with Excel.
