**The Role**
**What **You’ll** Do**
**Cloud Deployment and Automation**:
- Automate cloud deployment processes using tools such as Packer, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and updates.
- Utilize shell scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
**Cloud Support & Monitoring**:
- Monitor system availability and capacity utilization to ensure high availability and meet quality of service objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, testing, and production cloud environments.
- Provide input into enterprise capacity planning and support proof-of-concept design and testing activities.
- Provide ongoing support to customers as needed.
- Be available for on-call after hours support or maintenance on an occasional basis.
**Documentation & Collaboration**:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and support procedures.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers, Architects, and other IT teams to address cloud infrastructure design and architectural issues.
- Contribute to the development of change requests, white papers, proposals, and other technical documentation.
**What You Bring**
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in AWS services and cloud infrastructure solutions.
**Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Experience with cloud automation tools like Packer, Ansible, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with other cloud providers such as Azure is a plus.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional is a plus
**Soft Skills**:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
