**WAREHOUSE STOCKPERSON** Nanaimo Seasonal **The opportunity** We are seeking highly energetic, task-focused individuals who are responsible for receiving and distributing supplies to vessels, coffee shops, and various other departments. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Stockpersons are responsible for: - Receives goods including checking for quality to ensure adherence to approved specifications, verifying quantities received, invoice pricing and other required details to purchase order. - Ensure proper inventory rotation. - Reviews and adjusts orders, picks, assembles, packs, and delivers to vessels and various other locations. - Responds to internal and external customer inquires. - Counts inventory, documents, and investigates discrepancies. - Performs additional duties including custodial duties, general maintenance of warehouse trucks and shipping units, and pre-inspections of all equipment as and when required. - Provides orientation, guidance, and informal training to other employees. - Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time. **What you bring to the team** You are a clear and concise communicator with an ability to identify and resolve discrepancies using a high level of judgement and initiative. In addition, you can work in a team environment with mínimal supervision and the ability to operate motorized equipment safely. You have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment and the ability to list up to 50 pounds. A valid Class 5 Drivers’ License with a clean drivers’ record is required and a valid Food Safe Level 1 is required and can be obtained upon receiving an offer of employment.
