**Estimator / Sales Representative**:
Be accountable for defined customer relations with detailed budgets and objectives; Deal directly with clients and have excellent phone manners and communication skills.

Sell to existing customers and develop new customers; Understand customers’ product and business requirements and translate the current and unmet needs of customers into sales opportunities.

Analyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimate; review technical specifications and drawings for pricing and scope review; prepare estimates of materials, labour, subcontractor costs, etc. for job bids.

Maintain and complete tender processes, including administrative tasks; review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.

Review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation.

**Essential Experience and Skills**:

- Five years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in a construction materials environment or significant concrete technical experience and knowledge.
- Construction market and industry knowledge is an asset.
- Communicate with customers to solve issues to both parties satisfaction.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel as required
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with solid organizational, multi-tasking and time-management capabilities.
- Goal and results oriented with the ability to take initiative - talented, personable and ready to hit the ground running
- Ability to work independently and as part of the overall sales/operations.

Location: Greater Hamilton/Burlington Region

Car allowance + uncapped commissions

**Salary**: From $30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
