We are a premium, independent eyewear brand that celebrates the iconic California lifestyle. We're seeking a Sales Associate for our Austin retail store location. In this role, you'll use your love for fashion and your experience building customer relationships to drive sales. Plus, you'll learn technical skills in our lab that will make you an eyewear pro.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ability to style clients with frames, based on their personal style, and fit them for appropriate lens based on their current needs and occupation
- Adjust frames and perform small repairs
- Highly energetic and able to communicate clearly
- Great sense of style and knowledge of the local retail market
- Educate the customer while remaining casual and conversational
- Maintain consistent relationships with customers to acquire and build a clientele
- Meet sales goals, delivered by Director of Retail
- Perform consistent, detailed operations including paperwork and overall organized work flow
- Maintain all COVID-19 related safety protocols
**Requirements**:
- 1+ year(s) of customer service experience
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong follow-through and communication skills
- Organized, energetic, and reliable
- Retail experience preferred but not required
- Eyewear or optical experience preferred but not required
- ABO certification preferred but not required
