**Schedule**
- Evening Shift: 14:20PM- 22:30PM with $1.50 premium
- Overnight shift: 22:20 PM - 06:30 AM with $3.00 premium
- Must be available to work any day in a week including the weekends
- Must have reliable transportation due to limited bus routes on the weekends

Job Responsibilities

**Safe and efficient operation of the Line by**:

- Process the required product and quantities per the production schedule and specs, and in particular ensure

continuous quality supply of product to the next processing area.
- Operator's must show competency and understanding of all components of the line area; physical and

production hazards
- Attending and participating in crew transition meetings.
- Follow safe work procedures for machine start-up and changeovers, shut downs and adjustments
- Effectively communicate with other areas of the and make necessary adjustments and calibrations of equipment

to maintain continuous and efficient production.
- Maintaining a contamination-free area and coordinating the sanitation of equipment during product

changeovers and production run time.
- Continually check product specs to ensure optimal end product
- Responsible for making accurate entries in Log books and other documentation and accounting for changes

with Supervisor.

**Providing production support following Nature's Path's safety, quality and production procedures**
**by**:

- Ensuring product meets quality standards as set by management and Quality Assurance and making necessary
adjustments to area equipment to maintain standards.
- Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives as set forth by management.
- Maintaining a safe work environment for the team, and making the supervisor/lead/Maintenance aware of
any equipment or safety issues immediately
- Taking necessary and proper action when a problem or safety concern arises with equipment, product,
materials, or personnel.
- Abiding by all safety rules and regulations as set by Nature's Path Foods.
- Knowing what chemicals are used to clean equipment
- Understanding which safety equipment is needed to perform a job task and using them
- Maintaining daily waste reports to accurately record wasted material or product during a shift.
- Following all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) program
- Knowing where the MSDS is located and how to read them.
- Work with all areas of the line to ensure quality standards and assist as time permits.

**Essential Job Functions Include**:

- Frequent lift and carry up to 25 lbs an lifting up to chest height.
- Constant Standing and Walking up to 12 hours
- Frequent bending below knees
- Frequent reaching above shoulders
- Able to work for 12 hour shift
- Able to visually and/or using palpations (with fingers) inspect ingredients for
defects
- Frequent climbing stairs
- Frequent Fine Manipulation of hands
- Some work on platform over 3m in height
- Sweep/clean area with a broom, compressed air and/or power washer
- Must be available to work weekends and statutory holidays, if needed

Environmental factors include the occasional exposure to noise, airborne dust, high humidity, and extremes of hot and cold are
possible in the plant.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to use a keyboard, calculator, and Human machine interface
(HMI) screen. Constant standing, talking, hearing, and occasionally, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift 50 lbs, and able to adjust vision
for close vision work.

**Education**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years Machine Operation experience.
- Food Production experience preferred.
- Proven problem solving ability with mechanical understanding of machinery.
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and written in the English language.

Salary range: $21-$24/hourly
