Warehouse Worker/delivery Driver

Vancouver, Canada RM flooring Full time

RM Flooring is a local, family owned and operated flooring company.

Duties of the warehouse worker include:

- Unload material from incoming deliveries
- Drives truck to pick up products from suppliers or deliver products to customers
- Pick and pack orders
- Check and verify accuracy of product selection and quantities for all staged pick tickets.
- Prepare orders by processing requests; placing orders in staging area ready to load up installers in the morning.
- Organize, maintain and restock inventory as and when required
- Inspect goods for accurate material
- Organize space in the warehouse and maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain customer quality of service by following organization standards.
- Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, (We will train)
- Process returns accurately
- Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace
- Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management
- Additional assignments as required.

**Qualifications**
- Ideally forklift certified, although we will assist the employee in training.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Understands basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures
- Able to work independently with some direction
- Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
- Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Team player who works productively with wide range of people
- Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task
- Previous warehouse experience preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
