**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and best practices.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to guarantee guest safety.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Passion for cooking with a creative flair for developing new dishes.
- Combi Oven experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
