Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, fresh juices and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and other menu items
- Handle food and beverage ingredients with care to maintain quality and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar area, including wiping down counters and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
