- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
- Maintain inventory of eyewear
- Process orders for new glasses
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues

- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong sales skills with the ability to help patients purchase
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures for creating and repairing eyewear
- Familiarity with retail management principles and practices
- Understanding of medical terminology related to vision care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using optical software systems (e.g., Optosys)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
