Project Manager

**The Project Manager will be responsible for the following minimum job scope requirements**:
- Become familiar with and adhere to ECP company vision, mission statement, core values.

- Maintain a positive attitude to contribute to a favorable atmosphere in the office.
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Have excellent communication skills and respond promptly to co-workers, clients, subtrades, suppliers, consultants etc.
- Completion of Sales Contract with customer.
- Complete and submit progress invoicing.
- Ensure development and building permits are in place.
- Ensure subcontractors complete the pre-qualification form and submit.
- Oversee compiling budgets and estimates for projects following ECP’s estimating protocols.
- Review and become familiar with all project details including specifications, drawings, project schedules and budgets to effectively understand the scope of the work.
- Award sub-trade contracts, purchase orders, and facilitate the procurement of material.
- Maintain the project schedule.
- Monitor project budgets.
- Oversee shop drawing review process.
- Perform regular job site visits to review progress and assist Site Superintendent as required.
- Document and distribute RFI’s and site instructions, and ensure relevant parties follow through on responsibilities.
- Facilitate project change orders by obtaining subtrade and supplier pricing for review by the Project Manager.
- Participate in site meetings with the client representatives, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure work being performed by subcontractors is inspected and deemed to be completed properly before payment is released. Note deficiencies and report to office.
- Maintain close contact with construction managers, site supervisors and foremen on site, to ensure that the project is running safely, competently, and smoothly.
- Maintain professional working relationships with Project Team including client, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors.
- Coordinate with Site Superintendent to obtain all close-out documents.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Procore will be considered an asset.
- Participate in continual education to expand on knowledge and keep up to date with the latest technology and standard practice's in construction.
**Safety Responsibilities**:
- To ensure that all workers are educated to work in a safe manner and that they use protective devices and procedures required by Elevate Construction Partners Inc. and by legislation to protect their health and safety.
- To ensure that regular inspections of the workplace are carried out to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
**Requirements**:
- Valid Alberta driver's License with clean driving record. Driver’s abstract must be provided prior to hiring.
