**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures. This includes new construction and renovations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Perform flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Assist with masonry work as needed, such as concrete finishing.
- Operate heavy equipment for transporting materials or assisting in construction tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Able to travel to northern MB for 1-2 weeks at a time to complete projects.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including installation processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to carpentry tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
