We currently seeking experienced Owner Operator Team at our Edmonton location.

Please note that this position requires ownership or lease of a commercial vehicle.

The qualified applicant will provide inside home delivery services for furniture and major home fashions, including setup and scrap removal. We are paying a highly competitive rate and searching for the best Wages will be discussed in person only. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and conscientiously operate power units on city and highway roads within Alberta
- Make sure all freight is secured correctly every time
- Deliver freight to customers safely and in a timely manner
- Follow safety operating procedures for deliveries
- Follow client’s standard operating procedures including set-up and scrap removal
- Plan travel schedules and routes
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure outstanding survey scores
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each trip
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

**Requirements**:

- All owner operators are required to own a 24-foot 5-ton truck with a working power liftgate.
- Trucks must be clean and well maintained with an up-to-date CVIP required
- Insurance policy must show you carry $50,000.00 cargo insurance, $5,000000.00 general liability and $2,000000.00 Automobile Liability.
- Driver must be able to pass a drug test (THC included)
- Up to date vehicle registration insurance and 5-year commercial abstract
- A good standing WCB account
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License with air (Class 3 preferable)

Minimum 2 years previous experience in home delivery operations for furniture and major home fashions
- Helper/Swamper will be required at your expense
- Must be willing to work Tuesday to Saturday weekly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$112,000.00 per year

- Edmonton, AB T6B 2Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 3 Licence (preferred)
