- Providing home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people’s life at home.
- Demonstrating the uniqueness of the IKEA product range through your visual merchandising competence and display techniques in different store media and activity areas to distance us from the competition.
- Securing the use of the store layout to create a good product overview and strong visual impact that facilitates the buying process.

- Full Time availability requirements: minimum 35+ hours per week
- Occasional Weekends required (Saturday & Sunday)

80% of the time is on the floor, 20% at the computer for this role.
- Full Time availability requirements: minimum 35+ hours per week

Note : Scheduling requirements Currently 35+ hours:
Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 2:30 PM EST

Note

**Required Skills**:

- Higher education in visual merchandising, industrial design or art.
- Creative thinking supported by commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Actively seeking new and improved ways of working simply and cost-efficiently.
- Experience using REVIT preferred
- Comfortable working on up to 9ft ladders
- Excellent Communications skills
- Ability to use small hand held power tools, drills, screw driver, hammer etc..
- Comfortable to be able to lift 50lbs occasionally

NOTE: Day to Day Tasks
- Present the IKEA product range according to the IKEA concept guidelines. This involves collecting information, and working with the commercial team to plan and implement inspiring solutions on the sales floor.
- Plan new store layouts and display media to reflect seasonality and the product range.
- Implement displays and new plans on sales floor with Visual Merchandising team in Showroom furniture compacts and studios, market hall and self serve warehouse.
- Learn and understand the challenges and needs of our local market to reflect this in our solutions.
