Afternoon Baker

What we look for:

- Passion to work in a commercial bakery
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Strong work ethic
- 1 year of experience in commercial cake decorating or keen interest in baking

Your Role:

- Produce and bake sheets and other daily items including fillings using commercial bakery equipment (large mixer, proofer, industrial oven)
- Hand make leveling, adding filling and shaping cakes or roll cakes to our signature designs
- Stocking, receiving, inventory check, and cleaning
- Ensuring all cakes are completed on time and in stock at all times
- Working collaboratively with BOH team members
- Following and enforcing hygiene and safety standards set by the public health department and bakery
- Following FIFO (first in, first out) method to maximize freshness
- Able to work in a team, understand the importance of team effort
- Lift heavy loads 25lbs+
- Work afternoon and/or evening shifts, holidays, and weekends
