**Advanced Placement (AP) & English as a Second Language (ESL) Coordinator**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**AP Program Administration**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AP program, ensuring compliance with College Board policies and procedures.
- Coordinate AP course offerings, scheduling, and teacher assignments.
- Manage AP exam registration, administration, and reporting.
**ESL Program Administration**:
- Oversee the ESL program, ensuring it meets the needs of English language learners (ELLs).
- Develop and implement effective ESL curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress in English language acquisition.
**Support and Development**:
- Provide guidance and support to AP and ESL teachers, including professional development opportunities and resources.
- Assist in the development and review of AP and ESL curriculum to ensure alignment with standards and school objectives.
- Monitor and analyze AP and ESL program data to drive improvements and identify areas for growth.
**Student and Parent Engagement**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents regarding AP and ESL program information, policies, and procedures.
- Organize and conduct AP and ESL information sessions, workshops, and support services for students and parents.
- Advise students on course selection, exam preparation, and college readiness.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Collaborate with school leadership, counselors, and faculty to support the academic and personal growth of AP and ESL students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive AP and ESL community through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the AP and ESL programs and prepare reports as needed.
**Educational Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, TESOL, or a related field;
- Experience in education, preferably with experience in AP and ESL programs.
- Strong understanding of College Board AP policies, procedures, and standards.
- Knowledge of best practices in ESL education and experience working with ELLs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of educational technology tools.
- Commitment to promoting academic excellence and equity in education.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as an AP teacher, AP coordinator, or ESL coordinator.
- Familiarity with current educational trends and best practices in advanced academics and ESL education.

**Education**:
