Mobile Patrol Specialist provide a highly visible, security guard service various ASP properties in a professional, competent, and courteous manner. The primary responsibility of the Mobile Patrol Supervisor is to ensure a safe and secure environment for the protection of people, property, and assets through emergency response with afterhours support to the management team.

Mobile Patrol Specialist is actively providing direct and indirect management functions for the Mobile Services Division. They will actively provide coaching and development for the mobile patrol supervisors and their reports, as necessary. Mobile Patrol Specialists are required to comply with all company and client policies, procedures, and directives. Mobile Patrol Specialist must instill a strong sense of safety and security amongst employees while providing a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions. Mobile Patrol Supervisor’s act as afterhours scheduling, and emergency response to employee and management requests for assistance. They are the primary point of contact for guards and clients while deployed in the field and act as the intermediary between the company and the Mobile Services Division.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Providing support and structure, at multiple ASP contracted buildings, responding to emergency, security, and law enforcement calls, always maintaining the utmost confidentiality.
- Patrolling assigned areas. Observing, investigating, and acting on possible breaches of security, fire and safety hazards, illegal entry, theft and malfunction or interruption of utilities.
- Act as an ambassador of the client site by providing customer service, responding to guest inquiries and issues.
- Informing the designated authorities in the event of security, fire or health emergencies. Activating fire alarm and safety systems and assisting in evacuation procedures. Escorting designated authorities, police, fire, ambulance personnel to emergency locations.
- Conducting investigations, preparing incident reports, and conducting follow up investigations.
- Scheduling all last-minute book offs and immediate open shifts.
- Working closely with the management to complete a multitude of tasks that assist in day-to-day operations of the division.
- Providing security for protocol functions, demonstrations, and special events.
- Performing duties such as open-up and lock-down procedures, and security/life safety equipment inspections and foot patrol.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the client contact.
- Drive to sites ranging in the Greater Toronto Area, inspect and administer proper testing to all guards on site.
- Primary responsibility is to provide supervisory support for the Mobile Services Division Supervisors and Guards.
- Ensure that proper care and maintenance of vehicles is being conducted and monitored.
- Ensure that all site visitations and run sheets and supervisory duties are completed for each Mobile Services Guard.
- Provide and conduct certain disciplinary actions related to guard conduct.
- Track and maintain on a weekly basis a record of patrol activities (hits and misses).
- Conduct visual inspection of the property for damage and or miscreant activity.
- Conduct interventions up to and including arrests, removals or issue barring notices as warranted.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must hold a valid security guard license issued by the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General
- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- Must have G driver’s license
- 2 years of experience is preferred working in a similar mobile role
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and overnights
- Must have experience in Mobile Security, security systems and their functions
- Strong working knowledge of various security systems
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Comprehensive knowledge of common security policies and various related Acts, Codes, WHMIS
- Ability to operate and maintain computerized security equipment and possess strong computer skills
- Ability to react and resolve emergency and crisis situations in a proper manner
- Can demonstrated ability in preparing and maintaining clear, concise, and legible security reports and detailed records
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills, including conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making, situational assessment and communication skills

**Successful completion of all required training/certification courses, including the initial and annual recurrent Guard Training/Certification is a pre-requisite for employment**:

- First Aid, CPR and AED certification (Pre-Deployment)
