**The Role**

As our Maintenance Manager, you’ll be the mastermind behind keeping our hotel’s systems and equipment in top-notch shape. You’ll lead a small, skilled team, collaborate with hotel staff, and ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and mountain-strong. Your work will keep our guests happy and our operations humming, all while embracing **Vantage Values** like integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.

**What**You’ll** Do**
- **Lead with Heart**: Inspire and support a talented team skilled in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- **Plan for Success**: Create and execute preventive maintenance plans to stop issues before they start, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- **Be the Fix-It Hero**: Respond swiftly to emergencies and tackle unexpected repairs with creativity and grit.
- **Stay Resourceful**: Manage tools, supplies, and parts, work with vendors, and adapt to the unique challenges of seasonal changes and remote mountain conditions.

**What You Bring to the Team**

**Qualifications and Skills**
- At least one year of commercial building maintenance experience.
- A customer-oriented, friendly vibe that makes everyone feel welcome.
- Strong English communication skills with a knack for problem-solving.
- A team player with leadership skills that inspire and unite.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in our remote mountain setting.
- Computer and building software knowledge to keep things running smoothly.
- A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Boiler experience to tackle heating challenges.
- Have (or able to complete) a hot tub course—because bubbly hot tubs are non-negotiable
- Have (or able to complete) OHS training and WHMIS certificate for safety-first operations.
- Project management skills to juggle tasks and keep projects on track.
