The Digital Product Management Specialist plays a key role ensuring Canada Life’s digital capabilities meet the needs of advisors, customers, and employees who support them. Reporting to the Product Owner on the Design Systems team, the Digital Project Management Specialist helps deliver reusable solutions and tool management which are based on a rigorous understanding of desired outcomes and a range of possible options to evolve and maintain a digital library for designers and developers. This role impacts multiple experiences across lines of business and requires a combination of interpersonal collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, assertiveness, and drive to get things done to be successful.

**What you will do**
- Work with the Product Owner and partners across the organization to develop recommendations for the design system roadmaps.
- Works to achieve operational targets that are guided by key performance indicators within design system operations and business management.
- Assisting with monthly and day-to-day operations objectives with the design systems team.
- Assess rapidly emerging challenges and opportunities to enable organizational agility.
- Lead tactical workstreams from project intake to implementation and maintenance.
- Resolves recurring technical or operational problems using standard operating procedures.
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are explained and followed.

**What you will bring**
- 3-5+ years of industry experience delivering and improving outcomes for a design system or digital product, capability, or experience - ideally in a large-scale or enterprise context.
- Experience partnering with a broad range of stakeholders and skilled team members in dynamic, agile work environments.
- Ability to dive into unique, complex challenges and make sense of problems from business, technology, and user experience perspectives.
- Effective communication skills, including uncertainty and change.
- Desire to continuously learn about new technology and industry trends, product management skills, business practices, etc.
- Experience using collaboration and support tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Figma or similar.

The base salary for this position is between **$67,000**:

- $117,400** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
