**We are looking for an energetic and creative activity associate for our 10 bed dementia facility.**
**Responsibilities: Development and implementation of activity care plans. Planning and conducting individual and group activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs of residents. Initiate and promote novel activities within the facility and outside the facility. Assist and supervise residents on our onsite therapy farm. Engage residents in pet therapy with resident therapy dogs. Manage toileting schedules and personal hygiene care. Assist with meal services as required and medication administration. Complete other duties as assigned.**

**Qualifications: Compassionate and caring demeanor. Must be willing to work independently. Experience in dementia care. Familiar with memory care activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must provide a complete and current Vulnerable Sector Check, including a Criminal Record Check. Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers licence. Must be willing to interact with farm animals and dogs.**

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:
