The Tim Hortons Shift Supervisor position is operational in nature and involves the supervision of Team members activities on shift to ensure that standards around people, product, cleanliness, and exceptional Guest Experience are fulfilled.
**Role Description**:
**People Management**
- Leads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every Team Member and Guest with respect
- Reacts immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift
- Encourages a fun and exciting work environment
- Reports to Restaurant Manager, Owner or General Manager on Team Member performance (Positive or Negative)
- Trains, orientates and monitors new Team Members
- Assists in ensuring optimal Team Member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels
**Hospitality Management**
- Leads by example by demonstrating that the Guest is top priority
- Responds to Guests with sense of urgency and in a friendly manner
- Assists in running of company-wide incentive programs
**Operations Management**
- Displays knowledge of and works in compliance with applicable legislation
- Complies and enforces all Tim Hortons Standards
- Responsible for shift cash procedures
- Keeps current on all new information
- Assists Manager/Owner in driving sales and transactions during the shift
- Completes all shift documentation (Logs, walk thru, waste recording etc)
- Escalates to Management any issues or concerns
**Health and Safety**
- Works in compliance with occupational health and safety legislation
- know, understands and follows safe work practices and procedures
- uses or wears PPE as required
- Reports all injuries/illness, unsafe conditions and security incidents to Manager/Owner
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Previous experience in QSR
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Have Fun while working in a Fast-Paced Team Environment
- Flexible schedule required between 4:30am and 10:30pm
