Position Summary:
Liaison between Slot Owners, Operations and Divisional Supply Chain Team. Creates and disseminates Inventory Management reporting on behalf of the Supply Chain team to assist in the management of dead stock, slow movers, poor vendor performance.

Essential Functions:
- Generates daily and weekly reporting for the divisional team. Analyzes the reports in some cases for review of dead stock and various inventory issues.- Collaborates with appropriate GFS departments including, but not limited to, Regional Merchandising, Merchandising Operations team, and Replenishment Planners to maintain forecast integrity.- Develops and maintains accurate statistical forecasts that incorporates market intelligence gathered from collaboration with the various Slot Owner teams.- Works closely with the National, Regional teams to gather market intelligence for new and seasonal item demand.- Works with the Supply Chain Analysts to ensure that inbound purchase order logistics are communicated accurately to vendors and to expedite the delivery of purchase orders where necessary.- Collaborates with the Multi-Unit Logistics coordinator to ensure that inventory that supports customer promotional activities is in the warehouse at the right time and the right quantity- Collaborates with the Supply Chain team to ensure inventory for new customer launches and departing customers is at the best possible levels-
- Responds to inquiries concerning product delivery dates, determines cause and proactively informs the Category Management team as to the reason- Participates in supply chain team and marketing meetings- Assist the SCA in the managing of Inventory Exceptions including Return to Vendors- Assists the sales department by initiating and managing Drop Shipments- Regularly checks for changes to PO’s through the use of the iTN portal. Informs the Supply Chain Analyst if necessary to ensure appropriate inventory levels are achieved- Liaisons with Category Teams and Supply Chain to facilitate new item parameters, product conversion requirements and divisional status changesProposes methods and ideas for improvement in the forecasting system and existing business processes.-

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Human Relations - ability to work in teams, interact with others across departments/roles, develop relationships, etc.- Self Management - self directed with ability to deal with distraction, repetition, prioritization, fluctuations in workload, ambiguity, etc.- Mathematical - proficient in statistical concepts and forecasting methods- Communication - excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.- Time Management - ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute efficient work processes.- Customer Service - knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.- Problem Solver - ability to problem solve and develop solutions to a variety of complex problems by comparing, classifying, innovating, analyzing, coordinating, copying, etc. May refer to established precedents and policies.
Equipment / Tools / Technology:- Basic office equipment, laptop, PC, copier, videoconferencing.- Knowledge of various supply chain enterprise resource planning systems is a plus.
