Bartender Requirements:

- bartending experience an asset
- Great time-management skills, attention to detail and able to multitask
- Great interpersonal, communication and active listening skills

Bartender Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent, timely customer service by preparing alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests
- Interact with guests, take orders, serve drinks and food following the steps of service
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu, run feature cocktails
- Upselling drinks to maximize profits
- Serve guests responsibly to ensure they are safe
- Communicate with management of any problems that arise during service
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies always rotating stock at the end of each shift
- Ensure daily/weekly cleaning and duty list is complete
- Assist with inventories as needed
