We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team and take charge of our inventory operations using Excel spreadsheets.

The Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory on the shop floor, ensuring materials are accurately tracked, organized, and available for production. This role requires a seasoned professional with a background in sheet metal materials, strong organizational skills, and hands-on experience in forklift operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, supplies, and finished products using Excel spreadsheets.
- Work on the shop floor to oversee the receipt, inspection, and organization of incoming shipments.
- Organize and manage storage areas for quick and efficient access to inventory.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure materials are available for scheduled jobs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in Excel.
- Coordinate with suppliers for order placement, tracking, and deliveries.
- Develop and refine inventory control procedures to streamline operations.
- Participate in cycle counting and annual physical inventory processes.
- Provide guidance to junior staff involved in inventory tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience in inventory management, specifically in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and data management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on the shop floor and collaborate with production and procurement teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective inventory control measures.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Ability to develop, implement and enforce new processes

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Shop Floor Inventory Management: 2 years (preferred)
- Sheet Metal: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel (data manipulation and filtering): 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
