**Job description**

RTS Services Inc. is currently hiring Instrumentation Technicians to work out of our Ponoka, Alberta location for a variety of instrumentation and SCADA projects.

**Duties**:

- Instrumentation maintenance and construction
- Use pneumatic and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instruments, system operation, and diagnose faults
- Install and maintain instruments on new or existing site equipment and processes
- Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufactures’ specifications
- Gas Flow Meter calibration/verification
- Shutdown checks and verification’s (PM’s)
- SCADA system construction and maintenance
- Complete required safety and operational paperwork

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must be a qualified 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice with Oil & Gas maintenance experience
- Must have previous Oil & Gas maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of basic computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office) is required
- Ability to work within a team and demonstrate leadership
- Must have valid Class 5 Driver’s License (non GDL)
- Experience with EFM calibrations, Plant/Site shutdown checks is considered an asset
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, plant shutdown keys etc. is an asset
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be willing to travel, some overnight travel may be required

Pay: $40.85-$43.58 per hour
