**Beacon Building Products is currently seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in our Montreal, QC branch who would assist the Branch Manager in directing the effective and efficient operations to ensure that we are providing quality products and high levels of service, while ensuring the continued profitability of the branch.**
**Primary Function**:
To promote and generate sales of building products by assisting the Branch Manager.
Secondary function: Supervises the Counter staff and, as necessary, drivers and warehouse staff. Perform the duties of Manager in the Manager’s absence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ability to execute all tasks of inside/outside sales positions and is a role model
- Responsible for facilities management, overall branch cleanliness and showroom merchandising
- Manages all day to day activities of the staff in the absence of the Branch Manager
- Schedules and approves hours for Inside Sales and Office staff
- Trains all new hires on best practice, provides hands-on coaching and is a mentor in development
- Accountable for all selection and performance of branch personnel
- Completes all appropriate training programs
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Mincron
- Troubleshoots issues when problems arise
- Determines best practice for branch staff and leads change initiatives
- Executes team building and motivation exercises with branch staff
- Demonstrates quality leadership and imparts company's ideals to staff
- Works with Branch Manager to learn and contribute to improving branch performance
- Promotes teamwork for all branch staff
- Assists in vendor and customer communications
- Promotes relationship building to sales staff
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Description**
- Gérer, maintenir en poste et recruter des chauffeurs et des employés d’entrepôt pour s’aligner sur les initiatives opérationnelles.
- Principales responsabilités - Gestion des chauffeurs et du personnel de l’entrepôt et processus de prise en charge et de livraison des clients, gestion des véhicules de l’entreprise - service, entretien, planification des livraisons et aide aux clients de vente au comptoir, normes de sécurité, CSPAAT et tout accident signalé.
- Fixer et autoriser les dates de livraison en fonction de la connaissance des calendriers de livraison et des niveaux de dotation.
- Assurer l’exactitude des transactions informatiques.
- Posséder la capacité de surmonter les objections ou les préoccupations du personnel en établissant une culture de confiance et de respect.
- Maintenir et transmettre toutes les connaissances pertinentes en matière de concurrence directement au directeur de la direction générale pour un meilleur service.
- Sauvegardez à Dispatch et au service à la clientèle en traitant les plaintes des clients entrants d’une manière rapide et courtoise;
- Soutenir et donner l’exemple de la solide culture de sécurité des entreprises.
- Assister à toutes les séances de formation.
