We pride ourselves in providing a comprehensive Coast Builders experience to the residents who live, work and play on the Sunshine Coast. **The Opportunity** RONA Coast Builders is a family owned business. We are now looking for a CRANE DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVERto join our growing team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for providing the safe, effective and timely delivery of building materials and retail products as required by our customers. The Delivery Driver provides exceptional service through engagement and interaction with our Contractors, Customers and Employees. The DD reports to the Sechelt Store Manager. The DD works closely with the Sechelt Yard Team/Dispatch Leader & the General Manager Contractor Services. The DD supports white glove deliveries, customers & contractors. **Work Performed/Major Responsibilities**: - To complete the daily inspection of the delivery truck for safety requirements and operation and report any issues to the Sechelt Store Manager or Yard Team/Dispatch Leader. - To work with the Yard Team/Dispatch Leader to ensure that deliveries are made in accordance with the Delivery Schedule. - To oversee and assist the Yard Team members in the safe loading of all materials/products onto the delivery truck and ensure all loads are securely strapped for travel. - To complete a load check prior to leaving the yard. - To deliver materials/products to jobsites and customers businesses and residences as required by our customers and to ensure the safe and timely unloading of materials, in accordance with daily schedules, noting that at each Delivery site they are responsible to use their tablet to: obtain an on-site signature or sign **NOOS** (Nobody On Site); take pictures (Maximum 6) to include the address, the load drop location and the load end caps. Each driver is responsible for their tablet and must use the secure device in the vehicle while on route. At the beginning of the shift and the end of the shift, the tablet is to be picked up and dropped off at the Sechelt Shipping/Dispatch Office, accordingly. - You must maintain all licenses required to operate the Delivery Truck and provide Drivers Abstract to the Sechelt Store Manager in the first week of January every year. - Customer first ‘Always’, encourages store team to provide excellent customer service - Yes is the answer "now what was the question." - Addresses customers concerns appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction. - Responds appropriately to any other oral instructions from the Sechelt Store Manager and Yard Team/Dispatch Leader. - DD must provide own cell/smart phone. **Requirements**: - Accountability - Time management - Service orientation - **Class 1 OR 3 DL WITH AIRBREAKS ENDORSEMENTS**: - Crane operating experience is an asset - Must hold a Class A or B HIAB ticket - First aid certification is an asset Pay range is negotiable.
