The Program Analyst plays a key role in supporting the effective business operations of the Design & Construction team. Reporting to the Director, Design & Construction, this role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting data related to the capital and maintenance execution work program. The Program Analyst will develop processes, collect data from the design and construction supervisory team, and generate reports that enable the leadership team to manage the work program efficiently.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
**+ Analysis and Reporting**:
- Conduct gap and trend analysis for various projects/programs.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project/program status and outcomes.
**+ Root Cause Analysis**:
- Identify and analyze gaps and trends, determining root causes, and proposing solutions.
**+ Data Management**:
- Gather, organize, and validate data, ensuring accuracy in reporting through data analysis.
**+ Performance Tracking**:
- Contribute to KPI development and actively track divisional performance against established KPIs.
**+ Process Improvement**:
- Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, including process mapping for continuous improvement.
**+ Stakeholder Coordination**:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring successful project coordination and execution.
**+ Tools Development**:
**+ Quality Assurance**:
- Perform periodic analysis and monitoring of operations data to meet quality assurance standards.
**+ Strategic Support**:
- Participate in initiatives supporting the overall business strategy of the division.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ Post-secondary degree in Engineering or related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, gap analysis, and reporting.
+ 3-5 years of experience in business process redesign, analysis, and development of new initiatives.
+ 2 or more years of experience in local electricity distribution or a construction environment.
+ Class G license.
+ Project/program management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Excellent analytical skills.
+ Ability to develop statistical tracking methodologies.
+ Experience with process mapping, procedure writing, and knowledge of programming languages (VBA, SQL, Python) is an asset.
+ Business and strategic thinking acumen.
+ Ability to exercise independent judgment and perform duties with mínimal supervision.
