Edmonton, Canada Amalgamated Mining Group Full time

Amalgamated Mining Services (AMS) is a division of Amalgamated Mining Group and provides both aftermarket and original equipment manager (OEM) parts for machines rented or refurbished. We offer a comprehensive stock of new and used parts and accessories for various makes and models of mining equipment.

**This position is a permanent, full time position working forty hours a week, located at 9615 37 Ave. AMS offers a full compensation package including above market pay, health and dental benefits, and retirement savings.**

Reporting to the Parts Lead, this position is responsible for assisting the Shipper/Receiver with shipping, and receiving parts inventory. This position will also move and organize parts inventory, package parts for shipping, and ensure proper documentation and safety procedures are followed.
- Assist with all shipping, receiving, and organization of inventory
- Sort, organize and move inventory to the proper location
- Scan delivered items and assess parts for damages
- Perform detailed manual inventory counts
- Update logs and documentation for inventory processing and audits
- Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory

**We’re looking for someone who is willing to work hard, come with a positive, friendly attitude and willingness to learn.** The must haves include:

- Solid communication skills and inventory skills
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good attention to detail
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work
- Ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs

Nice to have but not mandatory are:

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Proven work experience in a warehouse setting is an asset
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment is an asset
- Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift is an asset. Training available onsite.
- Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
- Valid driver’s license for the occasional parts pick up is needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
