Nightclub Doorman

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure only authorized individuals gain access.
- Conduct ID checks to verify age and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain order within the venue by observing guest behavior and intervening when necessary to prevent disturbances.
- Identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding any incidents or concerns that arise during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to promote a secure environment for all guests.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience isn't necessary. A background in fitness or martial arts is an asset.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and personality skills for effective interaction with guests and staff. EXCELLENT command of the English language is a must.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. We have different venues from Vancouver to Mission so you will need reliable transportation to get to and from.

Pay is $25 an hour + tips. All tips are shared between security.
