We have an exciting opportunity for a **Die Handler** to join our **Die Department** team in Langley, BC. - Do you want to be part of a passionate, innovative team? Are you interested in growing your career with British Columbia’s only Aluminum Extruder?_ If the answer is **YES**, then read on This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth. **Shift Details**: Monday to Thursday 7:00 pm to 5:30 am (10 hours) Friday to Sunday 7:00 pm to 7:30 am (12 hours Weekend Premium) **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: - Responsible for servicing the extrusion presses by setting up dies according to production schedule. - Bring back dies after the production into the die warehouse. - Maintaining dies by using handheld tools. - Clean work area end of shift. - Other duties, as assigned. **Knowledge/Experience and Skills**: - Operating hand tools including Hammer and chisel. - MS Teams (preferred) **Preferred attributes**: - Team player - Possess a positive "can do" attitude - Reliability - Multi-tasking **Physical attributes**: - Ability to perform physical tasks that are repetitive. - Ability to do work requiring standing with frequent stooping, bending, reaching overhead, and sufficient manual dexterity to perform all aspects of the job. - Ability to lift, move parts and equipment up to 25 to 30 pounds. **What we offer**: - Extended health benefits - Dental coverage - Vision coverage - Long-term disability - Life Insurance - RRSP matching - Employee Appreciation Events Apex Aluminum Extrusions is a place for you to feel challenged, professional, and creative, while offering you the ability to build relationships, and excel in your career.
