- **The role**:_
An Attractions Attendants’ main focus is to provide an excellent experience for guests using the facilities. A passion for children, their growth, and a friendly attitude are integral. The role includes working outdoors rain or shine, preparation for the weather changes, maintaining a good flow of patrons, and following safety regulations. Attractions Attendants must facilitate the safe use of attractions by the patrons, mitigate any issues themselves, with team members, or by calling their superior. Attractions Attendants must maintain general park knowledge to answer any guest's questions, ensuring they have their needs met. This position includes working at heights on our Sky Quest attraction. You must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet and be 17 years or older.
- **Your responsibilities**:_
- Open and close attractions, following the guidelines for safe set-up and tear-down
- Perform adequate safety checks to ensure the safe use of attractions
- Daily use of radios with fellow team members to communicate information efficiently
- Understand the park layout, showtimes, washroom locations, attractions and food offerings to relay the correct information to guests
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace to facilitate the safe use of the attractions and welcoming atmosphere of the park
- Assist with Event days via completion of specific tasks, set-up and tear-down of event-specific attractions and offerings as directed by Park Support Staff
- Guest Service Excellence
- Coming to work on time, with a great attitude, proper uniform, pleasant demeanor
- **What you bring to the role**:_
- Guest Service experience is an asset.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Problem-solving and resolution skills
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- High level of personal integrity
- Self-starter
- Available to work weekends, holidays, weekdays
- First Aid and CPR-C certification an asset
