**JOB SUMMARY**:
We are seeking an organized and dependable Dispatcher to coordinate and oversee the timely dispatch of shipments while supporting overall order-fulfillment operations. This role involves performing a variety of tasks including monitoring service orders, updating reports, maintaining accurate records, resolving dispatch-related issues, and ensuring a smooth and efficient logistics flow. The Dispatcher plays a key role in ensuring that performance standards are met and that all shipment activities are executed in a timely and accurate manner.

**Workdays**:Monday to Friday

**Work Hours**:10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitor the yard entrance and manage access by responding to the buzzer and allowing authorized trucks and vans into the facility.
- Maintain accurate records in the daily dispatch log, including:

- Tracking inbound and outbound equipment.
- Logging departure times, destinations, cargo details, and estimated return times.
- Recording carrier/truck/van activity, including arrival times, order numbers picked up, and carrier details.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure efficient order processing and dispatching by:

- Transferring ready-to-ship pallets from account work zones to the staging lane, when necessary.
- Oversee loading and unloading activities for trucks and vans at the docks.
- Address and resolve complex operational issues; escalate unresolved issues to management with suggested solutions, when appropriate.
- Play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient dispatch and coordinated pickup/delivery of customer orders in alignment with established performance metrics.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and/or dispatch within transportation, distribution, or order-fulfillment industries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry skills.
