The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all our accommodation units and common spaces are clean and sanitized for when guests arrive. This position reports to the Housekeeping Coordinator and indirectly to the Operations Manager. This position is covering for a maternity leave.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning accommodation units (making beds, washrooms, dishes, kitchen, etc.)
- Washing and folding laundry
- Cleaning common spaces (comfort station, main office, etc.)
- Assisting with “deep cleaning” in the off seasons.
- Keeping a clean and safe workspace at all times.
- Learn and adhere to all emergency procedures
- Performs all tasks in accordance with established safe work practices and standard operating procedures
- Adheres to strict COVID-19 guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment for yourself, colleagues, and guests.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- First aid and CPR would be an asset
- Ability to balance competing priorities
- Positive, constructive attitude, especially when the going gets tough
- Collaborative with good communication skills
- Personable; able and willing to work effectively with different kinds of people
- Enjoys a fast-paced busy work environment
SCHEDULE:
- Full time hours
- Weekend work will be required given the nature of the business
- Evening work may be required
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS:
- Competitive wage dependant on experience and qualifications

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
