We are looking for a

**_AVP, Corporate Finance_**

**_
Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto, London, Winnipeg._**

The Assistant Vice-President Corporate Finance & Treasury will report to the VP Corporate Finance and Treasury and work closely with Executive Management on the execution of M&A and treasury functions of Great-West Lifeco.

**What you will do**
- M&A activity including internal & external valuation, accretion and ROE analysis and due diligence across global segments
- Execution of the treasury function including;
- monitoring Holdco cash & dividend obligations,
- create and maintain structured finance solutions,
- Execute internal and external financial securities transactions
- Help prepare and execute the annual and quarterly Lifeco capital plan including NCIB, derivative hedge trades and opco dividends
- Produce quarterly & ad hoc reports as required to provide information necessary stakeholders, including the CEO & Board
- Establish & maintain working relationships with External & Internal partners

**What you will bring**
- 10+ years finance experience
- CFA or CBV designation or equivalent relevant experience
- Institutional knowledge of LifeCo and it’s entities and/or experience working with complex, high level finance transactions/global finance vehicles/capital plans would be an asset
- Experience leading a team within a treasury and/or M&A function
- Experience preparing board level materials
- Must be able to utilize business acumen to nonstandard situations while considering all aspects of the organization
- Need to be able to work on several, high profile, multi-segment impact projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines with elevated workloads
