Calgary, Canada Mountain Street Plumbing & Heating Inc. Full time

Mountain Street Plumbing & Heating is currently looking for a full-time Apprentice Service Plumber for commercial repairs, service, boilers, preventative maintenance, and mechanical installation services.

**Duties & Essential Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water drainage systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Test new fittings and fixtures for leaks.
- Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial plumbing fixtures.
- Building shut down and repairs.
- Must have own basic tools to perform job duties.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with paid overtime (after 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week) and on-call as required.

**Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- Must be registered Apprentice Plumber/Gas Fitter
- Experience in commercial service is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
- Ability to carry out service work in a professional and respectful manner.
- Strong troubleshooting ability is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and drivers abstract.
- Able to work on boilers and hydronic heating systems.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to meet required project deadlines.
- Able to work independently or part of a team.
- Meticulous to detail yet efficient.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
