**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**_Driver & General Labourer _**

**Reports to**: Branch Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Each Monday perform the scheduled pick up of completed orders from GTA suppliers
- As required deliver equipment to customers / job sites throughout the week.
- Physically receive goods, confirm quantities, and receive into the computer system.
- Pick and pack orders for counter sales, ship warehouse transfers and/or courier deliveries.
- Manage Inventory levels and stock shelves with the assistance of the branch manager.
- Assemble raw material to finished product as per specific drawings.
- Communicate the company’s positive image and objectives externally.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, work areas clean.
- General maintenance of the property such as lawn care, cleaning of warehouse, machinery, and work areas.
- Various other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as opening containers & crates, preparing orders.

**Requirements**:

- Strong mechanical equipment skills.
- Self-motivated, personable individual who is eager to learn.
- Ability to lift or move heavy products.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High school or GED an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
- A Forklift licence is an asset.
- Steel toe CSA green tag safety shoes or boots required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70 per week

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
