Childcare Assistant

Balmoral Childcare Centre is located in Balmoral, MB. We provide early learning and childcare for children 2 to 12 years old. We are open Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 5:30pm. We are a warm, nurturing, play based centre that spends a lot of time outside

This position is part time with additional hours available as a substitute. For the summer, hours will be full time.

Duties include interacting with children, working independently/as a team, and light housekeeping duties.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors, adapts easily to change, good sense of humor.

**Requirements**:

- 18 years old or older
- Must have(or be able to attain): clear criminal record check, child abuse registry and first aid & CPR.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting or similar environment is an asset

We provide paid professional development, vacation & sick time.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.17 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
