Northern Security is an innovative, customer-oriented leader in locksmithing, key cutting and security solutions. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for a Storefront Customer Service Representative who is passionate about learning new skills and someone who strives to provide excellent customer service.

As a Storefront Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Greeting and serving customers
- Educating customers and answering questions
- Making recommendations and upselling products
- Performing locksmithing duties such as: residential & commercial key cutting services, lock picking, rekeying locks and hardware to new or existing keys, removing broken keys, and safe maintenance.
- Programing automotive keys and remotes
- Managing customer accounts using our Field Management software
- Creating and completing work orders for shop work
- Generating invoices and taking payments
- Performing routine maintenance on shop key cutting machines
- Maintain inventory levels and stocking shelves
- Contacting customers for supply only pick-up
- Performing opening and closing procedures
- Maintain store cleanliness
- Participate in year end inventory count
- Assist technicians and other staff members as needed
- Other duties as required

Skills, Qualifications and other Requirements:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Mechanical knowledge is considered an asset
- Personable, friendly and enthusiastic
- Ability to follow instructions, be coachable, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be bondable
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or FSM (Field Service Management) software considered an asset.
- Available to work up to 42.5 hours per week
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mixture of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, working overhead, etc.
- Bilingualism is considered an asset

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
