**Site: Hogarth Riverview Manor**

**Shifts: Days/Evenings including weekends (varied rotations)**

**Rate of Pay: $21.46 - $22.83 per hour***

**A temporary Community Transitional Care Unit (CTCU) containing 32 transitional beds will soon open in the Willow Grove area at Hogarth Riverview Manor. This is an extension of the Community Support Services program of Sister Leila Greco. The temporary CTCU will be a place where the physical and emotional needs of clients can be met within a homelike environment. Members of the CTCU team will provide support for clients who need moderate to high supports with daily living while waiting for space in a community setting.***

**Qualifications**:

- Current Personal Support Worker (PSW), Developmental Service Worker (DSW) or Social Services Worker (SSW) certificate/diploma from a recognized college program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Safe Food Handling certificate
- Current CPR/First Aid
- Education/courses and/or experience working with the elderly in a community setting, including medication assistance
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
