Toronto, Canada EMSL Full time

EMSL Canada, the fastest growing provider of environmental laboratory services, is currently seeking a full time **Laboratory Technician** specializing in **Asbestos** for its EMSL Canada Inc. location in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto, ON.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Prepare environmental samples prior to analysis Air Sample Prep, Bulk Sample Prep, Dust, PLM and Gravimetric/Silica Prep
- Will Train.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Use balances, HEPA filtered fume hoods, filtration systems and muffle furnaces to prep samples.
Cross train and/or assist in other departments if needed to meet business demands.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

**Requirements**:
Minimum requirement is High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing and able to stand for various lengths of time.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills.

**Available Shift**:
Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
