OASIS Outdoor Adventure & Sport Insurance Solutions Inc. was established to serve sport and recreation associations and their members with all their outdoor adventure insurance needs across Canada. We specialize in two niche programs: Got Toys and Pedal Power. Our Got Toys program focuses on club members' ATVs, snowmobiles, trail bikes, and dune buggies. Our Pedal Power program provides coverage for personal use of pedal and e-bikes, as well as business and competition use cycling.
Oasis also provides commercial insurance programs for adventure tourism, recreational associations, individual events, seasonal programs, and coverage for the development, construction, maintenance, and operation of trails on public and private land.

**About You**
We are seeking a National Claims Adjuster to join our team
Your experience and expertise in claims will help you deliver outstanding customer service while analyzing and acting decisively based on the facts. Your natural ability to negotiate, prioritize, be proactive, and think creatively on your feet will help you thrive in this role. You will get to diversify your claims experience, by handling claims in all provinces across Canada. Being the sole Claims representative on our team will allow you to enhance our claims processes, grow the claims team and enhance our relationships with Third Party Adjusting firms.
We are seeking an individual who resides in Calgary AB or North Battleford SK (or close proximity to either). Training will be provided on location, and once completed, the role will primarily be remote with option to come into office if preferred. You would be required to meet with the leadership team 2 to 3 times a month as needed as well.
**What will your role look like?**
- Provide exceptional customer service ensuring prompt response to inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Analyze and evaluate assessments, estimates, and settlement offers to ensure fairness, accuracy, and adherence to policy wordings and coverage terms.
- Responsible for dealing with our national broker channel to quickly and efficiently adjust and settle claims from inception to completion.
- Maintain accurate records based on company standards and policies.
- Responsible for developing and enhancing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and proactive measures are taken to mitigate risk.
- Monitor claims data, identify trends, forecast loss ratios, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish, maintain, and work with third-party vendors such as body shops, appraisers, salvage yards, etc., to settle claims.
- Maintaining strong relationships while liaising with third-party adjusting firms and partners on unique claims across Canada.
- Ensure accuracy with signing authority while issuing claims settlement cheques to insureds.
- Responsible for the handling and managing of Bordereaux reports.
- Take part in an annual trip to London England to collaborate with our syndicate partners.
- Contribute to the future initiative of automating our business for more efficient internal distribution and claims management.
- Continuously stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance.
- Thrive in a rapidly changing environment and balance multiple tasks of varying depth on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of company and client information.
- Perform additional duties as required.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Holds a valid Level 3 Adjusters license.
- Post-secondary education and/or CIP designation is considered an asset, but not necessary.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of claims adjusting experience.
- Experience and insurance knowledge with ATVs, Snowmobiles, Skidoos, E-bikes, etc., is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claim settlement practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, and drive to take initiative.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
