**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate excavators, dozers, and loaders for trenching, grading, and site preparation.
- Work precisely around utilities, concrete structures, and traffic control setups.
- Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, labourers, and surveyors to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety and environmental protocols.
- Keep accurate logs of work performed and equipment condition.

**Qualifications**
- **3-5 years** of experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment in **municipal, civil, or infrastructure construction**.
- Proven skill working in **confined or sensitive environments** (urban settings, bridge work, utilities).
- Strong understanding of **underground utility safety** and **excavation best practices**.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to adapt to changing site conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract (required).
- Heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent training (preferred).

**To Apply**

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
