**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Assistance**: Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering assistance and guidance throughout their shopping journey. Listen actively to customer needs, preferences, and inquiries, providing accurate information about our products and services.

**Product Knowledge**: Develop a deep understanding of the products available in the store, including baby clothing, accessories, furniture, strollers, car seats, toys, and more. Educate customers on the features, benefits, and uses of different products to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

**Sales and Upselling**: Utilize effective sales techniques to promote and upsell products, while respecting the individual needs and budget constraints of customers. Recommend complementary items, cross-sell relevant products, and highlight current promotions to maximize sales opportunities.

**Merchandising**: Maintain visually appealing displays and ensure that products are neatly organized and well-stocked on the sales floor. Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and arranging promotional displays as required.

**Cash Handling and Transactions**: Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to store policies.

**Customer Relationships**: Build strong and lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and personalized recommendations. Follow up with customers on their previous visits, purchases, and inquiries, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

**Problem Resolution**: Address customer concerns, questions, and complaints professionally and promptly. Collaborate with management to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Product Returns and Exchanges**: Assist customers with product returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies. Ensure returns are processed smoothly and efficiently, maintaining positive customer experiences.

**Store Maintenance**: Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, including tidying up displays, cleaning, and organizing inventory storage areas.

**Product Training**: Stay updated on industry trends, new arrivals, and product features through ongoing training sessions. Share your knowledge with colleagues and customers to enhance the shopping experience.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience, particularly in a baby or children's store, is a plus but not a must. Full training is provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with babies, parents, and families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Comfortable using technology, including POS systems and digital communication tools.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
