Capital Pro Group is a dynamic, fast-growing financial services company located in the heart of Westboro Village. We offer a complete range of services to help manage all aspects of our clients’ financial needs from Accounting, Taxation, Wealth Management & Insurance services.

With the beginning of the new year we are looking to expand our Wealth Management team by adding a new Financial Advisor Assistant. As a Financial Advisor Assistant you will be providing office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness with the Capital Wealth office. You will be working closely with our Financial Advisor to ensure they receive all important communications and to ensure that communications are answered in a timely fashion.

We are looking for someone with administrative skills who has a passion or interest in wealth management. For this position you will need, or will be willing to take and pass, the IFC (Investment Funds in Canada) course.

Specifically you will:

- Receive, redirect, or relay telephone messages, fax and mail
- Ensure security and compliance of client details, transactions, and other information
- Escalate all client matters as warranted by situation in a timely manner
- Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondences
- Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and appointments for the client
- Carry out instructions given by the office team
- Assist with directing communications regarding transactions
- Support compliance within the practice and fulfill all compliance related activities
- Keep a clean work environment

**Required Knowledge**:

- Understanding the importance of client relationship on a personal level.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is recommended
- Knowledge and experience in banking are highly regarded but not necessary
- English and French communication skills are highly recommended and will be prioritized

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent eye for accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Be able to prioritize, multitask, and wok within time constraints and follow-up
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Professionalism and strong work ethics.
- Computer and technical literacy.
- Financial and accounting knowledge is recommended, but not necessary.
- Customer Service experience required.

Wages: To be determined based on qualifications and work experience

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- IFC Certification? Would you be willing to take the exam? (preferred)
