**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and contribute to the culinary experience at our establishment. If you have a passion for food preparation and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs to management
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient operations
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
