Reporting to the Supervisor, Community Wellbeing, the Project Manager, Coordinated Community Resolutions (PM) is responsible for supporting a high-quality tenant experience that will allow tenant input and influence in the provision of community support programs that affect their quality of life at CityHousing Hamilton.

The PM will work with complex communities within CityHousing Hamilton (CHH) to assess the needs of the community, determine and secure appropriate resources and partners (such as health, income, food, addictions); develop frameworks and oversee implementation of case conferencing and coordinated responses.

The PM works collaboratively with the CityHousing Hamilton Community Wellbeing Team, Tenant Services Team, as well as all other departments within CityHousing Hamilton/City of Hamilton and a wide variety of community partners, agencies and organizations.

**GENERAL DUTIES**
- Manage multiple coordinated community response projects simultaneously including the development of project scope, project charters, work plans, tracking tools and final reports.
- Identify, secure and project manage community and internal resources to ensure project success.
- Provides one point of contact for community partners and resources within complex projects, providing complaints resolution and liaison, ensuring effective communication, coordination and scheduling,
- Research best practices, conduct environmental scans, critically analyze data and information, and provide advice to CHH on effective community engagement strategies, community-based projects, and funding sources. Responsible for writing and presenting both detailed reports and summaries for a wide variety of audiences.
- Participates in strategic planning discussions on the continued evolution of the community resolution program and its components, based on knowledge acquired through research, best practices, and case studies.

- Oversee the development and implementation of an evaluation framework and monitoring tools for project work.
- Collaborates on cross-functional teams with other CHH and City staff and stakeholders to clearly define goals and objectives of coordinated community response.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary teams with both internal and external stakeholders including community partners, emergency and health services, colleges and universities, community foundations, municipal, provincial and federal funding bodies.
- Forecasts project work plans and budgets to develop funding proposals for complex CHH communities.
- Liaises with the public, elected officials, consultants, stakeholders, and other level of government on issues relating to the direct responsibilities of this position.
- Work in accordance with the provisions of applicable health and safety legislation and all City of Hamilton and CHH corporate and departmental policies and procedures related to occupational health and safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned which are directly related to the responsibilities of the position.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

1. Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline or considerable experience, preferably in a social housing environment with previous demonstrated work experience developing frameworks in a social service delivery environment.

2. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills with a citizen centered focus.

3. Ability to work with a wide variety of people of diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

4. Previous experience project managing multiple, simultaneous projects in the social services sector. Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of project management methodology.
