Crossing Guard

**Part-Time - Seasonal (During the School Year)**
**Hours**: Approximately 15 hours per week
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about keeping children safe and supporting your community? We’re looking for a reliable and friendly **Crossing Guard** to help ensure the safety of students as they travel to and from school.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist children and pedestrians in safely crossing streets at assigned locations.
- Observe traffic flow and use hand-held stop signs to control vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain a positive, respectful presence as a representative of the community.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.

**Qualifications**:

- Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to safety.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable interacting with children, parents, and drivers in a calm, professional manner.
- A criminal record/vulnerable sector check will be required.

**Details**:

- Approximately 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (split shifts around school start and dismissal times).
- Seasonal position following the school calendar (September-June).
