**City University in Canada, Master of Counselling Program, Vancouver Campus**
Join our outstanding faculty team in the renowned Master of Counselling program, established in 1999 in BC with a strong reputation for developing counselling practitioners, scholars, and advocates. This program enrolls mainly domestic students and enjoys a committed faculty and leadership team where collaboration with senior administrators and direct reports is valued and practiced. This hybrid role offers flexible remote work combined with on-campus engagement at our Vancouver location and bi-annual visits to the Saanich campus.
**What You'll Do**
- Lead program operations including budget management, curriculum development, faculty scheduling, and student success initiatives while fostering collaborative leadership across the team.
- Model excellence in inclusive education, including the integration of First Peoples' Principles of Learning, within our social justice-focused program that serves working professionals across BC.
- Promote stakeholder engagement and consultation to best serve BC learners and communities while ensuring continuous program improvement. Participate in governance.
- Oversee Associate Program Directors, staff, and teaching faculty through hiring, development, and performance management to create an empowering learning environment.
**What You Bring**
- Doctoral degree in relevant field
- Post-secondary program coordination and administration experience
- Professional credentials: Registered psychologist with clinical experience OR counselling professional registered with BCACC or governing body
- Passion for social justice and inclusive education

This role reports to the Vice President of Canadian Academic Programs, BC, and offers the opportunity to ensure quality student experiences while advancing program excellence.

- An earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Counselling Psychology or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in teaching, preferably in both in-class and online modes of educational delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in higher education management, leadership, governance and curriculum development. Able to lead annual strategic planning and implement strategies to meet goals.
- Demonstrated practice of leadership in a collaborative, student-centered and inclusive environment committed to continuous improvement.
- Experience engaging students and faculty in teaching and learning practices consistent with First People's Principles of Learning.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to relate to and communicate with diverse students, faculty, staff, and external communities in person and in virtual modes.
- Ability to engage with and build partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and learning management systems in support of quality teaching and learning.
