Labourer, Backframing

We’re looking for a dedicated **Labourer**to join our Backframing team. You’ll work alongside skilled framers, support day-to-day site activities, and help deliver high-quality homes — all while maintaining a safe, organized, and positive work environment.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between sites

**The Role**:

- Assist with all aspects of back framing in residential homes
- Strap houses (1st, 2nd, and basement living areas)
- Construct drops, bulkheads, frost walls, basement bulk headers, and finished stairs
- Straighten studs and complete finished basements
- Follow build sequences and working drawings accurately
- Manage and organize materials on-site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment daily
- Attend biweekly toolbox talks and follow all health and safety processes
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace

**What You Bring**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in framing, back framing, or construction labour
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Safety certifications (Working at Heights, WHMIS, WSIB)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Motivation to work hard and learn new techniques
- Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities
- Physically able to lift, bend, and work in all weather conditions
